We normally bill at an hourly rate, but appeals can often be handled for a fixed fee and, in appropriate cases, we represent plaintiffs on a contingency fee basis. In a contingency fee billing arrangement an attorney receives a portion of any award as payment for his services and receives no payment for his legal work if the case is unsuccessful. In any class action in which we represent a plaintiff our fees are set by the court.
